What is a Pendulum?
Pendulums are powerful tools that can aid in spiritual growth and provide insight into various aspects of life. They consist of an object attached to a string or chain, which swings back and forth or in circles when suspended. Pendulums can be made from different materials such as crystals, wood, glass, or metals. 

Crystals and metals have the potential to absorb energies that may cloud or influence the information received. If you prefer using a crystal pendulum, it's essential to cleanse it before a divination session or when seeking answers for healing.

Healers often use pendulums to measure energy fields or as a dowsing tool for divination. I use mine for celaring energy and in my Crystal Healing. It works well when I am balancning my own chakras when using an outline ( see main picture)

• Allow the Pendulum to Choose You:                                                          When selecting a pendulum, trust your instincts. It is likely meant for you if you're drawn to its appearance or feel.
• Cleanse Your Pendulum:                                                                                     To ensure the pendulum is clear of any previous energies, you can cleanse it by holding it under running cold tap water, soaking it in sea salt, or setting a mental intention to release any accumulated energies.
• Understand the Directional Swings:                                                Pendulums swing in vertical straight lines, horizontal straight lines, or circular movements. Take time to observe and familiarise yourself with the directional swings of your pendulum.
• Define the Directional Swings:                                                              Assign specific responses to each directional swing. Begin by asking the pendulum to show you what a "NO" looks like, followed by a "YES," and so on. This will help you establish a consistent understanding of the pendulum's responses
• Pendulum Response Examples:                                                          Typically, a vertical swing signifies "NO," a horizontal swing represents "YES," and a circular movement signifies "NEUTRAL." However, remember that each person may have slightly different responses with their pendulum, so it's important to establish your own directional swings.
• Prepare Your Questions:                                                                                Craft questions that can be answered with a positive, negative, or neutral response. For example, asking about the outcome of a job interview is appropriate, while predicting the gender of a baby may not provide a clear response.
• Set Your Intention:                                                                                            Before starting your session, set an intention and wrap yourself in protection. State your intention to receive truthful answers that serve the highest good of all involved.
• Ask Your Questions:                                                                                        Ask your questions, one at a time, and allow the pendulum to respond. Be open to asking multiple questions to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the situation.
• Clear Between Questions:                                                                            Pause and stop the pendulum's motion completely between each question. This helps clear any lingering energies from the previous question, ensuring accurate responses.

Important Reminders:

• Trust your instincts and accept information only if it feels accurate to you.
• Keep a notebook nearby to jot down your questions and the pendulum's responses for future reference.
• Remember that each pendulum may have individual responses, so take the time to establish your own directional swings.
