My name is Jade Whaley. I help people through important life changes by offering calm guidance, practical help, and a caring presence.

I am based in Timaru and work with individuals and families in South Canterbury, or online across New Zealand and around the world.

As a funeral celebrant, I create personalised ceremonies that reflect the person who has died and support those who are grieving.

I work closely with families to shape a service that feels authentic, respectful, and meaningful.

I can be involved as much or as little as you need.
This can include:
  • Writing and leading funeral or memorial services
  • Meeting with families to gather stories and memories
  • Creating a ceremony that reflects personality, values, and life story
  • Supporting you through planning during a difficult time​
  • Liase with funeral directors
​Every family, every life, and every farewell is different. There is no perfect script or “right” way to do it. Only what feels meaningful for you, and what helps you honour the person you love in a way that feels right in your heart. I’m here to help you find that.
