I began my meditation journey in about 1994, where I attended a three-month course (weekly) and then continued weekly training for numerous years. It was key in my spiritual development and my recovery from a horrific car accident ( but that is another story!) Meditation is a practice that helps us achieve emotional calmness and mental clarity by focusing our attention and slowing down racing thoughts.
