Use These Simple Steps To Help You Trust Your Intuition

My rule is to trust your intuition.
Some big- some small. Do you sometimes wonder if you have done the right thing for yourself?

We all have moments where we doubt ourselves, and that's okay. There will have been times in your life when you have trusted your intuition, and it things turned out fine. Sometimes our head says no - and we go against our 'gut 'feeling - and in hindsight, realise we should have listened to our intuition.

It can feel like a gigantic task when you start on this journey using your intuition to guide your life. It may feel like something so big, so daunting that it seems impossible to accomplish. My friend- don't overthink it.

Can you trust your intuition? YES, you can.
Like any relationship - it takes time to build trust. 


You need to start the process. 
You can take small steps every day to help increase your trust in your intuition.

• Keep a journal of intuitive insights! Write down any time you receive an intuitive nudge or feeling of knowing, then look back over them at the end of the week or month or whenever it feels right for you. The more frequently you do this, the more likely your brain will recognise these nudges as valuable information—and use them accordingly!

 

• Take some time every day to focus on what's happening in your body. Notice if there are any specific areas where tension builds up—this could be in your shoulders, jaw muscles, stomach, or chest region. As soon as you notice tension building up in one particular area of your body, try taking deep breaths to relax the tension. This is your intuition using your body as a signal. If you are feeling stressed - look at why. Is it your mind overthinking or feeling scared of change? If not, take it as a sign that your intuition is steering you away from something. 

Begin by making minor intuitive decisions.

• What clothing should you wear today to feel confident? 
• Which way will be quicker or less stressful to drive to work? 
• Should you lift your hand and speak at your team meeting?
• What will the general atmosphere be for the BBQ you are attending tonight? 

Fear is what often holds us back. 
What if you are wrong? ...but what if you are right?

When you start making decisions on what FEELS intuitively correct to do- and things go well, you can become more confident. The more you use your intuition, the more confident you are in your decisions.

Before you know it, you will buy the first house you see, turn down an invitation without an explanation as you know it's not going to go well or pick up that phone and ring that person who needs you.

Don't overthink it- 
The rules of life I use for making decisions for myself and my family

1. What does my head say?
2. What does my heart say?
3. What does my gut (intuition) say?

Most of my decisions have the three all aligned.
If I need clarification, I listen to my gut, which hasn't let me down yet. 

Life is more straightforward, less stressful, more aligned, joyous and balanced when you use your natural superpower - intuition.
