What is a hybrid solar eclipse?
It's a rare combination of an annular and total eclipse, where the former turns into the latter and back again. 

A solar eclipse usually occurs about two weeks before or after a lunar eclipse. Sometimes, there are even three eclipses during the same eclipse season. So, we're just getting started!

A hybrid solar eclipse combines an annular and total eclipse, where the former becomes the latter and then reverses back. It happens because of the Earth's natural curvature, which causes the Moon's shadow to move across the globe. And because it can only occur during a New Moon, the hybrid solar eclipse is the rarest.

Hybrid eclipses are extremely rare because they occur only a few times every century. The hybrid solar eclipse timing varies depending on where you live. Although the solar eclipse involves our entire planet, it will only be viewable from a few places; visible at sunrise in the Indian and sunset in the Pacific Ocean. Western Australia gets the best view. A few places in North Island, New Zealand, may get a glimpse. 

It is worth noting that the air temperature is also likely to drop, and animals may change their behaviour.
