... Not at all Courage is not about lacking fear. Fear is a universal experience at different points in our lives, and that's completely normal. Courage involves not eradicating fear; it's about taking action despite fear. It means acknowledging fear, facing it, and being open to stepping outside our comfort zone repeatedly to pursue our goals and dreams. Courage manifests in various forms, such as taking risks, making tough decisions, standing up for our beliefs, and confronting our fears. It's an essential aspect of personal growth and success. Learning to navigate fear is crucial for moving forward with courage. Fear doesn't disappear until we confront it directly. It's an innate part of our psyche that aims to protect us in dangerous situations. If we avoid facing and embracing fear, it can hinder our progress. Fear can keep us stuck for extended periods, but we must learn to work with our fears to move forward with courage. Be Persistent Persistence is vital to developing courage. We may need to achieve our goals on the first attempt consistently. It's okay to test the waters, retreat momentarily, gather more knowledge or make another attempt. The most important thing is to keep going. When encountering something new, pay attention to your emotions. Learn to recognise the physical and psychological signs that your body presents. Sweaty palms, an increased heart rate, eye twitches, shortness of breath, or shallow chest breathing are common indicators. Equipped with this understanding of your fear responses, you can employ strategies to overcome them. Trying a short breathing session before a challenging situation, practising mindfulness, stretching, spending time in nature, or listening to guided meditations can help. Don't Give Up To sustain courage, remain open to trying again and again. Nobody is perfect, and we all stumble along the way. Often, we need to learn things repeatedly before getting them right. Remember that making mistakes is part of being human. View fear and courage as integral steps in personal development. Without these experiences, we would never grow as individuals. Have confidence in yourself and know that no matter how daunting something may seem, you can face it. Over time, you will accumulate experiences demonstrating your ability to confront and overcome fear while pursuing your deepest desires. Cultivating courage is an important quality that we can all nurture in our lives. It takes courage to confront fears, overcome obstacles, take risks, and pursue our dreams. Thanks Jade I am trying to have the courage to leave work and start my my own book keeping business but its scary.i see this as a sign that it is time to go for it
