Jade's inspiration ~ sunflowers
The ancient Greeks devoted the sunflower to the god of the Sun, Helios. Aztecs, Mayans, native Indians, and early Chinese all documented the importance of the sunflower to them. Sunflowers have traditionally been associated with happiness, life, loyalty, and longevity, and this flower exudes enthusiasm and positive energy.
Sunflowers can also aid in the reduction of stress, anxiety, and depression in the home. People use them in teas, bath bombs, bath oils, massage oil, and cooking. I planted sunflowers last year in my garden for the first time and loved them, so I have grown more. I can't wait for them to bloom this year.
