Jade's inspiration ~ sunflowers

The ancient Greeks devoted the sunflower to the god of the Sun, Helios. Aztecs, Mayans, native Indians, and early Chinese all have documented the importance of the sunflower to them.  Sunflowers have traditionally been associated with happiness, life, loyalty, and longevity. This flower exudes enthusiasm and positive energy.

​Sunflowers can also aid in the reduction of stress, anxiety, and depression in the home. They are used in teas, bath bombs, bath oils, massage oil, and even in cooking. I planted sunflowers last year in my garden for the first time and loved them so have planted more. I can't wait for them to bloom this year.
