Discovering Sacred Symbols: Insights from Across Cultures
In our shared human history, symbols have been more than just pictures; they're like keys to understanding deep and important things. I will explore four special symbols from different parts of the world. 

These symbols are Om/Aum, the Eye of Horus, the Ankh, and the Triskele. They all have rich stories and meanings that have lasted for a very long time. From the cultures of India and Egypt to the Celts, these symbols have meanings that go beyond what you see.

Om/Aum: A Universal Connection
Om, or Aum, is a special sound and symbol from places like India. People often use it when they meditate or do yoga. It's a way of feeling connected to something bigger than ourselves. The three parts of this symbol (A, U, and M) represent different parts of life: the body, the mind, and the spirit. Om is like a link to the past, the present, and the future, helping people find purpose.

The Eye of Horus: Protection and Healing
In ancient Egypt, people had a symbol called the Eye of Horus. It was like a good luck charm that could keep you safe and healthy. This symbol comes from the story of a god named Horus, who watched over the sky, the sun, and the moon. People used the Eye of Horus as a kind of magical shield against sickness, accidents, and bad things. It's also a sign of starting again and getting better.

The Ankh: Eternal Life and Beyond
In Egypt, there's another symbol called the ankh. It stands for life that never ends, being born again, and how different things come together. When gods and goddesses hold it, they can give life and keep the cycle going. The ankh has a loop at the top that's like a never-ending soul and a cross at the bottom that means the world we live in. It reminds us that life and death are connected and that we can go beyond this world.

The Triskele: Balance and Transformation
The Celts had a symbol called the triskele. It's made of three spirals that come together, showing how everything is connected. It reminds us that our body, mind, and spirit are all linked. The triskele also tells us about change and how things keep moving in a circle. It's a sign of balance, change, and the energy that flows between the real world and the world of the spirit.
