Jade's inspiration ~ Mandalas painted on rocks

I love mandalas and admire those that create mandalas on rocks. I have done this myself and enjoy it ( though it does take a while, so be patient). If you've ever seen a Mandala, you'll be familiar with the fabulous geometric patterns and vibrant hues. Ifs an incredible work of art made out of geometric forms and motifs that are meant to represent the universe. In Sanskrit, it denotes circle or completion. Mandalas are frequently used as an art therapy method to help relax our overworked minds, treat depression and post-traumatic stress, and as a meditation activity. Mandalas on rocks have grown increasingly popular, and they are simple to learn for beginners of all ages. 
Buy yourself some paint test pots and get creating!
