Jade's inspiration ~ rock drawings
In South Canterbury, where I live, there are "rock drawings' or 'rock art" which is fascinating. The word "rock art" refers to a visual expression that dates back thousands of years. Paintings, drawings, and carvings can be found on various rock formations, including caves, rock shelters, boulders, or rock outcrops.
"Cave art" refers to art created in enclosed environments like caverns and caves. Rock art sites may be found on all five continents, making them one of humanity's most pervasive cultural phenomena. They've stood the test of time, many of which may still be seen today.
