Jade's inspiration - Diwali

Diwali is a five-day celebration celebrated by millions of Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains every year. Diwali is celebrated over the 5-day, but the primary day of celebration is day 3—also known as Lakshmi Puja. Diwali is one of the biggest and most significant holidays of the year in India. The religious festival, also known as the Festival of Lights, is a beautiful occasion that commemorates the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, and hope over despair. 

The principal deity worshipped is Sri Maha Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, abundance, and well-being. As a result, many Indians light lamps and candles, or diyas, to invite Lakshmi to their homes. Diwali festivities can be held as community events or at home. People gather together, bringing sweets and food. It is a time of fellowship, feasting and prayer.  It is also known as the festival of lights.

The Universe gently urges you to shift the focus from others and look deep to see what you need now. You have grown over the last few months and are ready to shift some focus to YOU. You are a little out-of-sync because you have put others' wants and needs ahead of your own. Release the restrictive expectations you have on yourself regarding how you think you "should be". Life is balanced, and your wants and needs are just as important.
