Jade's inspiration - The Wise Crone

In our society, ageing can be seen as something to be feared and avoided. Thankfully, a shift is taking place, and more older women are stepping into their wisdom and strength. Remarkable figures like Jane Fonda, Gloria Steinem, and Angela Davis embody the Wise Crone archetype, using their experience to impact and inspire younger generations positively. Now I am in my 50s and embrace being a "crone."

The Wise Crone archetype is a universal figure revered by cultures throughout history. From the Greek goddess Hecate to the Norse goddess Hel and the Native American Grandmother spirit, she symbolises strength, resilience, wisdom, and guidance. The Crone can see beyond the present moment. Her experiences allow her to offer perspectives grounded in reality and easily overcome challenges. Emotionally strong and resilient, she navigates life's ups and downs with wisdom.

The Wise Crone represents the power of femininity. She embodies nurturing and caring qualities while displaying fierce independence. As we age, it's common to feel less valuable or productive. I believe that embracing the Wise Crone archetype reveals that ageing brings new purpose and meaning. Sharing our experiences and wisdom allows us to positively impact the world and navigate personal challenges with greater ease and confidence.

Let us celebrate the Wise Crone within us, acknowledging the strength and wisdom that come with age. By doing so, we can challenge ageism stereotypes and inspire others to see the beauty and power of embracing every stage of life.

Take steps to protect yourself from these influences effectively. A black or brown crystal may help. 

You might also be physically sensitive, possibly facing issues with a blocked third eye chakra. Take measures to clear it and safeguard your chakras from detrimental energy flows. Prioritise your well-being and create a positive environment to nurture your mind, body, and Spirit.
