Jade's inspiration ~ cleansing the energy of jewellery

I love jewellery and wear different pieces depending on what I am doing that day and the energy I want to bring in.. For centuries, jewellery is worn as decorative ornaments by people. Jewellery has also been utilised in rituals by shamans and priests.​I believe that jewellery should be "charged" with the intended energy before wearing it. You can do this in several different ways.

​To cleanse, you can meditate and infuse the jewellery with cleansing energy. You can also hold the piece in your left hand while submerging it in the cold; flowing water is one method. Put your particular intention into the item while you're doing this. After that, place the jewellery item on a shelf for the night, preferably under the moonlight.After cleansing, you can then charge your jewellery with the intention that you want for ie: healing, sexual, calm etc
